We sell most on eBay and a few on our own www.buyhummel.com site.

We charge 40% of net sales, but this 40% includes all advertising and auction fees. You net 60% of sales dollars in your pocket. Generally you will get more money for your collection by selling them with us under consignement then selling the entire collection to someone for cash. Each M.I. Hummel figurine is a fine detailed work of art. Although many appreciate the visual aspects of these figurines, most are unaware of the true artistic skills that are used to create these magnificent works of art. There are essentially six steps in creating Hummels: sculpting, molding, casting and assembling, kiln firing, painting, and several in-process inspection checkpoints and a final inspection. It takes several weeks with about 700 hours of production for each M.I. Hummel figurine produced. Each step involves master skills. However, the final result is that a 2D drawing has been transformed into a 3D piece of art for all to cherish.
